I have had three mobiles - the Alcatel Max DB, a Nokia 3310, and this one - this is the worst phone out of the three in my opinion - I have written opinions on those too - check them out. As usual I'm not going to dabble on about each aspect of the phone - just the major parts. When you buy a phone, what do you look for? ... Read the complete review

-------------- The Beginning -------------- I don't know why I asked for this phone for christmas! I went against fashion as paid the price! Instead of getting a small sleak Nokia, I got a bulky brick like Motorola. But I soon learned to live with it. --------- The Look --------- The ... Read the complete review

Motorola flirts with the masses by adding a radio feature to their V2288 WAP phone. Although the radio may be convenient, it does not help your Wapping experience. Bulky The phone weighs 138 gram, about the same as Nokia 7110, but it is even more bulky and uncomfortable to carry. The phone includes neither a modem, nor an ... Read the complete review

Motorola may not be the worlds number one when it comes to mobiles - namely Nokia take that role! However they really do know how to make a good phone. As a quick run down: You can have your own private party on a bus with this little mobile! It's got a built-in FM radio and headset so that you can plug up, turn on and ... Read the complete review

Motorola really know how to make a good phone. It is incredibly feature-packed for a £40 (with a free Orange Out-Here pack) phone. This phone is on Orange and so will have slightly different features to the standard Motorola V.2288. I will list and comment on all the features of the phone. WAP Internet Access- The WAP part ... This is on of the cheapest and best WAP phones on the market. It has recently dropped in price to below the main competition. It has everything you would expect from a mobile, and does its job well. It also has changable covers, to personalise it. Built in is a FM radio, to keep you entertained. The phonebook can store 80 numbers, which ... Read the complete review

The V2288 has an excellent look, and having a good WAP browser and an FM radio makes it quite a good phone. The Call quality is the best I've ever seen - on BTCellnet, the calls never break up and are as good as a landline. This phone is not as good as it sounds however. It is quite large (admittedly partly due to the big WAP screen), and ... Read the complete review

If you are looking for something cool and nifty do not look past this little number. I was devastated when I lost my Nokia 7110e provided exclusively for Orange customers, and as I had no insurance was looking for the cheapest option available to me. This is when this nifty little thing came to light. The V2288e again is specific ... Read the complete review

The Motorola v2288 is a great value phone. I bought the phone on Cellnet pay as you talk for only £40. I was delighted with the radio function; wap has just been a total disappointment though that is the same on all phones. The radio function is brilliant; you use the hands free for it. It doesn’t seem to run down the battery too ... Read the complete review

I have just bought one of these as a gift on a voucher basis rather than monthly contract. It is light, sleek and good looking. The display is perhaps a little small for a WAP phone especially if you have got used to the models with larger screens. However, it has loads of functions and even though the radio only consists of 9 preset stations, it ... Read the complete review

I bought the V2288 two weeks ago after seeing it advertised on TV. I think it is quite a nice looking phone after you have taken that ridiculous-looking rubber case off of it. My first impressions however, did not really live up to my expectations. For starters, the instruction manual seems to be as complicated as a NASA ... Read the complete review

Its the latest WAP-enabled phone from Motorola and I am beginning to quite like it! Although the screen is not quite large or vivid enough for a WAP phone - there are far more features on this phone to make up for that drawback!
