Disadvantages: NOT MUCH EXCEPT THE COST!
Before I start gabbling on...
I wrote this review over a month ago now on the brand spanking new 'Motorola Razor V3'. YES, I know this is the wrong catergory but how annoying is it when you spend ages writing a review to find that you cannot post it. ~ Well you suggest the product to dooyoo right!? Right. I have done that now so many times that I have given up and posted my review here. As soon as the correct product is put on the site this review will be deleted and put in the correct place. (However I am STILL yet to here from dooyoo about my suggested product!!) Sorry for any hassle...
This review is on my brand spanking new mobile phone! Yes.... I understand that I must seem a very lonely and sad person to go on and on about how brilliant a phone is but I'm not actually that sad so here goes....
The new Motorola V3 has been out literally a couple of weeks max (Longer now as I have posted this review at a later date!) and I don't know if you have looked into the mobile phone market recently but everything sucks! Sorry.... everything sucks apart from this new phone from Motorola. As soon as I saw this phone I fell in love (Quite literally!) I didn't care how much it cost, what it did or how it worked, I just really, really wanted it. (Based upon its appearance!) Typical girl.
Even when I discovered the phone would set me back at least £300 on pay as you go and nearly £150 on contract, I STILL wanted it! Call me mad but I was determined to get this phone! I ended up buying the phone on a brilliant deal with the shop; Phones 4 u (phones 4 u, 4 less at phones 4 u... know the advert!?) They are doing a special deal where the phone itself is only £49.95. The contract is with Vodafone and costs £40 a month but you receive 350 anytime, cross network minutes and 250 texts. (Surely I can't break out of those limits!) Hmmm...
The phone itself though is very interesting and I've had much fun playing around with it... (As well as using it!)
APPEARANCE
Well considering I bought this phone based on its appearance, what else can I say!? The phone is silver, very wide but extremely thin and a flip phone. You will either love the look or hate it! The phone consists of a small colour screen on the front of the phone and a clear large one inside, both of extremely amazing quality. The camera part of the phone is on the front but do not let this put you off, it does not make the phone look ugly in any way at all. Once the phone is flipped open, you see a gorgeous precision cut keypad made out of Anodized Aluminium. If you don't think this is sexy - you're mad! The buttons are very clear and respond to the lightest of touches. The appearance of this phone is what will sell it. (Well to females at least!)
DURABILITY
The whole phone is made out of this Anodized Aluminium which is apparantly extremely durable and protects the phone really well from drops and scratches. With a screen being on the front of the phone along with the camera lense, when left in a bag or pocket they may scratch. I would recommend looking for a suitable case if you are worried about this. Otherwise this phone is supposedly immune to most drops and breakages but I am yet to discover if that is really true!
SCREEN AND GADGETS (The phone itself)
As mentioned before the screens are amazing, perfect quality and not too small and cramped and full of colour! The phone itself has many features as listed:
1. Digital camera with 4x Zoom - Really excellent to play with, superb quality although lacks a flash.
2. 65,000 colour screen - Amazing quality.
3. Bluetooth wireless technology - Sounds good but I don't necessarily use it!
4. Dual screen - Handy
5. Metal finished keypad - Really classy and seems extremely durable
6. Anodized Aluminium case - Also handy -lets hope it really is as durable as they say! They say that the lightweight casing is 18 times stronger than plastic.
7. Video playback - This is great to use although I sometimes wish I could record things myself (Although - would you really use it?)
8. Built in speaker phone - Again, very handy - especially when driving.

After playing with my phone I found that you can download up to around 40 polyphonic ring tones and save loads of animated screen savers and backrounds. The games aren't anything special but I do not use the games really on my phone, the games consist of skipping stones, golf, billiards and there is loads of space for downloads as well. The phone book can apparantly hold up to 1000 entries which I would never fill but I'm sure theres some that would! You can also save lots of messages! I have also enjoyed playing around with the voice activated dialling!
Ease of use is easy to explain - its simple! After playing around with the phone for a day or two you will soon be used to it. I'd never owned a Motorola phone before and I caught on very easily!
COST: Whoa! The cost.... yep this is a little on the expensive side but there are ways around it. Like myself, you can get it on the Vodafone contract and only pay £49.95. On the other hand you may be better to wait for more deals to appear or just for the phone to drop in price. THE PHONE IS NOT WORTH PAYING OVER £100 FOR ON CONTRACT. (So however tempted you may feel - don't! - Unless your loaded and have money like that to splash around!)
TARIFFS: At the moment many of the tariffs such as Vodafone, o2 and T-mobile are offering this phone on their normal contracts but they are pricing the phone between £100-£200! I recommend you look out for special deals like I did! I do believe this phone is yet to hit pay as you go or may have only just come out but the prices are extortionate!
BEST PLACE TO GET: Phones 4 u. (At the moment) BEWARE though they are selling like hot cakes, I had to leave my name and number to collect mine at the end of the week as they were out of stock! I am basing this the best place to get it because of the deal they are doing. You may find elsewhere other deals such as on the internet.
CONCLUSION
As it says on the phones 4 u website; 'If you’re obsessed with style this has to be the phone for you.' This is definitely true, if you are looking for a classy phone this is for you! As well as the appearance you also have a very hi-tech phone which I'm sure I am yet to find more gadgets on! The accessories and the phone itself are amazing and although not worth £150-£200 it is definitely worth anything up to £100! If you feel I haven't mentioned anything that you would find important or interesting, please let me know, if not I hope I've inspired many of you to look into this phone further - it's definitely worth the look!
Hope you've all enjoyed!
Cheers emma x
