Advantages: Size, screen and vibra alert
Disadvantages: Menus, aerial
The V3688 was my old phone before my 3210 and it was nothing special. This phone had three advantages. To me they were its size, although this may be too small for some people as on the odd occasion it did get lost, the vibra alert, this is useful and in my opinion every phone should have this, although it does shorten the batterylife, and finally the holographic display. This is great as it lets you see the screen very clearly without the need for the the backlights. This is due to the screen being able to reflect the natural light in such a way that the screen is illuminated sufficiently. This however is where the advantages end. This phone has complicated and hard to navigate menus. There are also to many sub directories which are unlocked when another menu is accessed. I also had truoble with the rather large aerial repeatedly coming loose and at one point I lost it altogether. When I recieved my replacment through Orange, I found I had the same trouble. The screen also scratches very easily and the active flip, although a practical idea, is still not strong enough for constant everyday use.
