Since I first saw this phone I wanted to get one, so in May this year when the opportunity came to upgrade my existing phone, I leapt at the chance. The only choice I had to make was if I wanted to spend a little more money and get the V50. When I looked into this it the V50 didn’t offer that much more than the V3690 (except for WAP). As this was not a feature I wanted on my mobile I went for the cheaper V3690. So, almost four months later, am I happy with this choice? The simple answer is yes, I love it. This is a great little phone with all the standard features you would expect. The basic things are all there, phone book, choice of ring tones, ... Read the complete review

Having owned a variety of mobiles over the years and being a certified gadget freak it was almost inevitable that I would end up with one of these. I had previously owned a Star-Tac, the original small flippy phone and had swapped it for a Nokia before returning to Motorola and buying this one. My initial excitement soon faded though for this phone though small and pretty sexy to look at has advanced very little from the early days of the StarTac. The software is almost identical and very un-user friendly in the post Nokia mobile world. Very simply the software cannot touch Nokia phones, it is complex, boring to look at and very unintuitive. If you like to use ... Read the complete review

Th Motorola V3690 is a marvel of design and technology. It's one of lightest phones available and fits into the palm of your hand. It's stylish, has fairly efficient menus system, has voice dialling, VIbracall alert and an active flip. Tech details: It is a GSM dual band phone ( works all over the world except North America) and cost around £100-250 depending on the network you sign on to. ( Bought independently it can set you back around £349.00 (RRP) The clamshell casing is light but effective, the aerial is sturdy. It has a surprisingly good volume levels and the signal pickup is excellent ( I tried it on BT/Cellnet) The voice dialling ... Read the complete review

The Motorola V3690 is a aesthetically beautiful phone. Its simple but effective clam shell design covers both the phones buttons and screen when closed, eliminating the possibility of damaging the screen or pressing buttons accidentally. It's a fantastically small phone (once the world's smallest phone, and I think it may still be) made with very light weight materials which allows it to weigh in at less than one hundred grams. This size however, does have its downpoints. The main one of these is that does have very small buttons which many claim are too hard to operate with larger hands. The phones small design unfortunately also blesses ... Read the complete review

Ever since I have been interested in cellular phones, I have looked at this handset with love hearts in my eyes. The idea of a phone weighing in at under 90grams is unbelieveable. This is where I think mobile phone companies are smart. When you walk into a mobile phone shop, all you see is a "dummy" phone. With the v3690 you get the small, light and almost sexy looking handset in your palm, and feel the words "wow" fall from your lips. But is it? I fell into the exact same trap, and lucky for me Virgin Mobile do a 28 day satisfaction guarantee, as I was less than satisfied. Been the "next generation" of phone ... Read the complete review
