I bought the Motorola w377 as my first phone and I was expecting quite a lot, my dad had already got a Motorola and after seeing how well his worked I felt that they were a brand that I could trust

How wrong I was, I got the phone and on the packaging it told me the features it had. MP3 Ringtones, FM Radio, VGA Camera, Bluetooth and even some Java Games. However almost all of these functions were of very poor quality

The Design is very sleek and definitely one of the most delightful phones to look at however everything else is rather poor

The MP3, the phone allows for about 2 songs to go in its internal memory with no option for expandable memory using a SD card or similar, this was the first disappointment for me.

The FM radio worked, however you need to plug in the headphones that come supplied and I lost these within a week and was un willing to pay the extortionate prices for a replacement one it also worked very poorly and reduced the already rather poor battery life down to virtually non existent and he speakers left a lot to be desired , the games were also very poor and took a long time to load. The camera was also very poor, with no optical zoom and only 1.3 mega pixels it left a lot to be desired

But enough about the multimedia features, how does it perform as a phone, the answer is averagely, the predictor text is alright and the handset can be a bit annoying during long phone calls, but it works and allows you to communicate with friends. The battery life however is very poor and fully charged at the beginning of its life will give you about 2 days, but put Bluetooth on and you're lucky to get 6 hours, and use the radio and don't expect anything longer than a couple of hours.

I would not recommend buying this phone to anyone
