Advantages: Its groovy

Disadvantages: Can't us ebuttons properley anymore

I wanted this phone as soon as I saw it for its stylish and sexy looks. With its silver casing, black sides and back and black buttons the phone looks better than a lot of phones on the market today and is very original. The phone is compact and very slim but holds a whole host of facilities. The other good thing about the phone is that not everyone you see has it held to their ear!

The phone itself has a wide range on functions and specifications.

The battery has a life of up to 12 days left switched on, pretty impressive. But what about the possible 8 hours of talk time that you can get out of it aswell? Pretty impressive eh, well even better, the battery is only very small, about 2” in height by about 1.5” across and it doesn’t make any difference to the size of the phone either.

The best thing about the phone is the LED, which will give you all sorts of warning lights aswell as lights to tell you if you have a signal, message or an incoming phone call, if you want your battery to last a bit longer you can turn it off. It is Dual band, which means you can go all over the world., but still use it. It has 14 ringtones, but none of them are particularly silly like the Nokia sets of ring tones. You can even personalise you ringtones, which basically means if you have several different people (up to 20) calling you a lot, you can set their ringtone, so you’ll know who it is without even looking at the phone. The backlight is effective and you can see the screen clearly in the dark, as you can with the buttons, dialling won’t be a problem as they light up well. There is quick access to the sound settings i.e. if your in a meeting, you can set it to meeting, or put it on silent.

The aerial retracts, so if you want a better signal, you can pull the aerial up and you get one!

The phone seems to be robust and durable. I have only had one problem with the phone. The problem is that the buttons h
ave become a bit hard to depress, especially the ones I use most. I don’t know if this is a common problem on all phones or whether I have just worn mine out!

This isnt a phone for kids or people who like playing the games on the Nokia’s. Nor is it a phone to mistreat as it is quite an expensive phone to buy. It is a phone for people who want a phone that looks good and can perform well. It is also an excellent phone for business users.

Word of warning though. If you have bought this phone as a stand alone phone like I have and want to use it with your orange sim card, you won’t be able to get your voice mail as orange don’t seem to have a voice mail centre number that is compatible with Orange.

biggerdeffer beat me to it... Re: Orange problem with message centre, check that the number begins with a 7 - if it begins with a 9 eg 973... try sticking in a 7. Good review, and you're right about it being nice not to have the same phone as everyone. I was one of the first people amongst my circle of friends to have a 3210 and look at them now! Still I've gone on to a Siemens S35i now. Mike

PS Any verdict on the Button Moon spaceship?
