Disadvantages: email set up is hopeless, sharp VAT practise

As usual the phone arrives with enough instructions to programme a moon landing. It?s on the big side, but it does have a lot of features and I suppose they have to cram them in somehow. My box had two batteries and no car charger, but as the a battery life is dreadful, then its just as well. Calls are fine, and the image and video stuff is impressive, It?s typical that the videos if transferred to your PC need a special application to show them (downloadable from three.co.uk). And music needs another application to make mp3s play on the phone!
All that I can forgive. But the e-mail! I added my choice of email address when I signed up at phones4u, then restated the email address from the phone 3 weeks later, as I had never been able to test send any messages to either address. I then called ?help? to find out what was going on ? my email had been pre-assigned as e.g. m44123467890@3mail.com , and it could not be changed!? how useful is that! It still doesn?t work either.

The £35/month offer fails to mention that VAT gets added!!!!
