Advantages: cheap, easy to use

Disadvantages: very basic

This phone is very cheap (under £30), very easy to use but also very basic. I use mine for text messaging and making/receiving calls, which is all I really want a phone for anyway. It also has a handy torch. There are also a couple of games on it.
I think it would be ideal for a child to use as a 1st phone as I think this would do all they would need, for emergency use or just to let a parent keep in touch with them.
The battery seems to last for ages and also it seems quite robust.
