Hello! Nokia 1100 is an entry level phone. It`s design is simple. There is no phone in the world that is as durable and accident resistant as this one. I use it in my work( i`m delivery driver) every day and I love it`s durability. It dropped on asphalt many times and nothing serious happend(sometimes battery fall off). But I put it ...  Read the complete review

This in my opinion is one of the last classic Nokia's; it's a phone which does just that. No messing about with camera(s), mp3 players, colour screens, or anything else to distract from its core use. Admittedly nowadays people would laugh at this seemingly lacking device, although in fact that this is essentially what most people use from their ...  Read the complete review

A Friend in Need, A Friend Indeed ~ The Story behing my phone ~ Looking at this phone in DooYoo's listing brought me back to the year 2005. It was end of January, and I was coordinating a group of volunteers in Aceh after the Tsunami. We opened a small clinic near the town centre, complemented with a mobile team of doctors ...  Read the complete review

I've used fancy phones with colour and email and all that jazz but this has been the best I've used in recent years. It's small durable and pretty does everything you want a basic handset to do. I've had mine for over 3 years now, originally as a back-up phone and now as my permanent handset. I've no complaints about the phone. I've ...  Read the complete review

Wow, this mobile phone is nuts! I left it in my pocket of my jeans which I then put in the washing machine! It survived without ruining it's functioning! I was kind of hoping that it wouldn't survive, because I really wanted to get a better looking phone. I guess I'm stuck with my old faithful Nokia ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Nokia 1100

I love it!
Its really easy to text because of the good-sized, rubbery buttons and the predictive text is easier to use than my friend's phone which comes up with suggested words.
I paid £20. I have dropped it a million times and no damage!
The large-print clock screensaver means I don't need a watch. I use the alarmclock, the reminder feature and occasionally the torch!
The ringtones are fairly unpleasant though.

This is a great phone… if you just want a phone. It has no fancy gizmos, no pictures, and no music. It makes phone calls and sends texts, but that's about it. To look at, it's a pretty standard Nokia. It can have a variety of coloured covers (including blue, pink, red, green and yellow) but mine is the boring grey and black ...  Read the complete review

This phone is very cheap (under £30), very easy to use but also very basic. I use mine for text messaging and making/receiving calls, which is all I really want a phone for anyway. It also has a handy torch. There are also a couple of games on it. I think it would be ideal for a child to use as a 1st phone as I think this would do all they ...  Read the complete review

Remember the 3210? Yes probably the most popular phone of all time, long befoe the advent of WAP, Camera Phones, Bluetooth, Color Screens, poly tones etc. Well in 2004, Nokia brought us the 1100. All it is a slimmed down Nokia 3210, that phone is over 5 years old. Why on earth would we want to part with £40 for a phone we all ...  Read the complete review

Bluetooth? No. Colour screen? No. WAP? No. Polyphonic ringtones? No. Just thought I'd get that out of the way first, because if you're looking for a phone that does everything under the sun, including make the tea, this one is not for you. On the other hand, if you're like me and only use your mobile for calls and text ...  Read the complete review
