Cheap and simple. Not that efficient. (Nokia 1208)

Advantages: easy to use, cheap.

Disadvantages: many problems with incoming calls and outgoing texts

First of all this is an entry-level phone which claims to do nothing other than make calls and send texts.

I bought this phone when mine was getting repaired simpl because i needed c cheap and efficient preplacement.

Cheap is certainly what I got but efficient, not so much.

The main problems i had with this phone is its texting. The phone would often reset whenever i sent a text so i had to rewrite the whole thing once the phone booted up again. This was obviously annoying and time consuming.

Furthermore sometimes when people were trying to ring me it would go to answer phone, despite the phone being on and having full signal.

These happened regularly but i had no problem making outoing calls.

The phone is also extremely robust, i treated itquite poorly as it was just a cheap temp phone but it stood up to all sorts of abuse! Sound quality was fine on calls, no problems there, and the keyboard is extremely easy to navigate when texting, as is the whole user interface, tpical of Nokias.

It has a simple snake game on which may appeal to some, it also has a flashlight which is suprisingly bright. Helpful when arriving back from the pub and trying to find the door lock!

Overall it is a cheap phone which makes calls and sends texts, dont expect much more, good for kids new to phones or those who want something small and very easy to use. Mine may have been a one-off and i never got it checked out because it was a temp phone, but it did, as stated, have some rather annoying and quite frequent problems.

Make sure you read other reviews of similarly cheap phones as if you shop around i'm suree you would be able to get more for your money.

Summary: basic phone good for first time users, mine however seemed to be riddled with bugs.
