Advantages: Cheap!

Disadvantages: Not many functions, feels cheap and low quality.

I have been quite disappointed with this handset - it feels cheap and plasticky, like several other recent Nokia offerings. It is relatively basic - no mp3 player, radio, video etc. It does take photos (of middling quality), and it can use GPRS to access the internet. Obviously it also does phone calls and text messages!

It does everything I need it to do but nothing more, and it looked worn after about 3 months. The keypad has a one-piece rubber-like cover which works fine but the keys are quite fiddly and the surface wears quite badly. The battery does seem to last quite well - usually about 3 days including about 30 minutes call time.

The menu is fairly standard Nokia - roughly the same as all the other Nokias I've used. If you're getting one on a contract (as I did), check ahead of time whether it comes with the lead to connect it to a PC - as far as I can work out it doesn't have bluetooth so you'll need a lead if you want to upload photos or backup your phone book.

Summary: Basic - adequate for unadventurous users
