Nokia is a king with its excellent lower level budget phones. Previously Nokia 2300 got good response with all over the world and now the 2310 has been launched with better design and look but there is nothing measure upgradation over its previous model.

Design and look
Phone is completely meant for call purpose only so that good features related to call available but there is not such advance features has been provided. Design and look is average but better than its previous 2300 model. Phone has been measured with 105.4 x 43.9 x 19.1 mm, and the total weight is about 85 g. id we consider its thickness than it is very high than average 15mm it means phone is very thick. But the weight is average with 85 gm and phone is handy and pockatable enough.

Display
Phone has been upgraded in terms of its display color screen instead of black and white with 96 x 68 pixels, 4 lines display. In this category of completely budget phone it is good feature with 65k color screen instead of previous black and white tradition.

Memory
It has 4Mb of total shared memory for data, contacts, messages and java applications. Phone has good internal memory in its category with compare to other lower range phone and their common 2 MB of total memory. Phone can store up to 200 phonebook entries and it can keep 10 call record for each category, in dialed, receiver and missed call.

Connectivity
Phone doesn't support any connectivity solutions and I think this is a measure disadvantage in this phone. At least GPRS connectivity is required in lower level budget phone also. And it will be better that one GPRS and one infrared connectivity should be provided.

Other important feature are FM radio, and this is the good feature in this phone where you can enjoy music on FM in lower level phone, and now a days all manufacturers are trying to keep FM radio in every model of phone to give a necessary feature. Phone also has a built in handsfree, and some other important applications like calculator, stopwatch, T9 dictionary etc.

Battery back-up
The best and the best feature about the phone is its excellent power back-up with Standard battery, Li-Ion 970 mAh (BL-5C), and I was able to get more than 6 hours of talktime with this battery. If you are a average user of phone and use this phone to talk average 2 hours daily than you need not to charge this battery for at least 3 days.

Over all this is a good lower level budget phone with superb battery back-up and FM radio for your entertainment. Recommended.
