Having been unhappy with the tiny keys of my free Sony Ericsson T290i, I recently upgraded to a Nokia 2610, and while I've had some good experience with Nokia phones in the past, I'm afraid this one doesn't come up to snuff, and here's why. But first, let me tell you what's good about this phone. Nokia phones are famous for their sturdy build, and the 2610 is no exception. The style is simple and attractive, with a good metallic feel to it (as opposed to a cheap, plastic feel), giving confidence that this won't easily break. This particular model was chosen for the large(ish) keys, which help my aging eyes see what I'm doing. I especially like the ... Read the complete review

I bought the Nokia 2610 when I simply needed a mobile for simple purposes to call and text others. As I already owned an iPod Touch that was capable for my music and other needs, I wasn't looking for any special features in the mobile. This phone only costs around £25.00 on pay as you go. This means you can put credit on your phone, which can be bought from a variety of places including newsagents, mobile stores and supermarkets. The mobile does its job but has a few flaws too. The mobile is black with a good size 128x128 pixel screen. It's not the smallest mobile but isn't too chunky either. The buttons are all painted silver besides the two select buttons ... Nokia is known for its quality and user friendly phones. The Finnish giant has something to offer for almost everyone. When I first saw Nokia's 2610, I really liked the design. It had a nice black and silver plastic finish and looked pretty neat. The menu is pretty simple and is typical Nokia style, so to say. But when I started using it, I was a bit disappointed. I am a chronic chain texter, texting 24/7. For that, speed of the menu, response of the dictionary and the keypad are what that matter. But Nokia 2610 didn't live up to the expectation. My typing was much faster that the response and the letters would take some time to appear on the screen. It was ... Read the complete review

When my last phone (Sony Ericsson - quite expensive at the time) finally decided it would pass on to the other side I needed a phone and the bank balance meant it had to be very cheap. So this was the cheapest I could find - and it shows! First off the good points: it does the bare minimum well. + Phonecalls are easy, volume is OK in my experience, speakerphone works fine. + Texts similarly OK despite the keys (see bad points) - delivery reports and predictive text if you're in to that sort of thing. + The battery life is also really good and it charges up very quickly. + It's built like it would take being run over to break it (I've not ... 2610 is my former cell phone I used for nearly two years. And I decide to replace it with another phone only because I have to change my cell phone plan. It is still usable now, and I use it as my bell every day. 2610 don't have much features. It don't have a camera, its screen is somehow small. You can not use a memory card too. But it is cheap, and it works so well as a cell phone and messager. I was a student at that tiem when I used this phone. So I have to watch my money to keep it stay in my balance. 2610 save me a lot of money to purchase it. It is among the cheapest phone at that time, and all I want from a cell phone is calling and message. ... Read the complete review
