Advantages: Cheap and cheerful.
Disadvantages: Horrible key response time. Screen visibility. Limited functionality.
When my last phone (Sony Ericsson - quite expensive at the time) finally decided it would pass on to the other side I needed a phone and the bank balance meant it had to be very cheap. So this was the cheapest I could find - and it shows!
First off the good points: it does the bare minimum well.
+ Phonecalls are easy, volume is OK in my experience, speakerphone works fine.
+ Texts similarly OK despite the keys (see bad points) - delivery reports and predictive text if you're in to that sort of thing.
+ The battery life is also really good and it charges up very quickly.
+ It's built like it would take being run over to break it (I've not tried this!)
+ Graphics are OK, Internet access and nice Calendar/organiser.
Now for the bad:
- The keys take forever to respond to being pressed. I find this the most frustrating thing about this phone. I don't mind the no-frills nature of it - I bought it because it was cheap, but even my old ZX Spectrum didn't take a full half-second (I kid you not) to register a keypress.
- Keypad build/usability is poor but I have had worse even on top-dollar phones.
- Poor screen. Very hard to see in any sort of bright light (eg daylight)...
- No camera, terrible games (flipping a coin is NOT a game), poor memory. I can live with these for the price.
In conclusion this is an OK basic phone if you are strapped for cash but the key response is nasty and you'll want to upgrade the minute you have the funds.
Summary: Only buy this phone if you need to save the cash.
