Advantages: Screen brightness, decent call quality
Disadvantages: Video camera isn't awefully good.
With all the recent hubbub over smart phones with large screens and speedy processors, the old-school phone segment has been relatively ignored. This is a shame, because with a phone like the 2720, you really can't go far wrong - well it's not the manliest phone on the planet, but it does the job (and for the price, come on).
Straight up, it looks quite good and it fits snugly in your jean pocket and feels solid - perfect for a night on the town when you don't want to risk a different phone to pickpockets or your own mishap! For where it matters, there is a video camera with recording, though I found this to be a tad grainy and unreceptive in dark spaces, in contrast to the brightness of the screen, which was very good under all conditions. Call quality is top notch, though I did have quite a lot of interference last night. This may have just been down to a bad location for reception, or the fact that I managed to spill a beer on it - I guess I'll have to report back on this to let you know how it holds out.
Summary: Brilliant phone for the cash
