As my trusty 3310 neared retirement age, I decided I needed to replace it with a somewhat younger model. So I searched the shops for something suitable. My criteria were simple: 1. It had to be a nokia with similar operation to to 3310. 2. It had to have WAP. 3. It had to be on Vodafone, as I wanted to keep the same SIM card. 4. It had to cost significantly less than £100. So armed with these requirements I went shopping and found the 3100, on vodafone pay as you go (PAYG), on sale in Argos for the very reasonable price of £59.99 *************************** The ... Today I will be reviewing my new mobile phone the Nokia 3100. I took receipt of the phone three weeks ago after requesting an update from Singlepoint as my Nokia 8210 was starting to look dated and very worn due to amount of punishment it had taken over the past 12 months. The phone cost me £19.99, but as it is a fairly new release from Nokia it does retail with most contracts from £100 - 150. My main attraction to the phone at first was the actual look, it has a colour screen, can send multi-media messages and receive pictures. The features weren't really a consideration as most features are standard across ... Read the complete review

I recently started using this handset as a supplied work phone. (No Blackberries here!). It's a small and sturdy little phone in the traditional candybar design. There are no end of X-press on covers, both official and 3rd party, to change the phone to suit your personality, choice or even mood. Under the cover: The phone is 10.2*4.3*2cm and weighs 85g. It's fairly small and discreet and slips easily into a pocket or bag. The phone is tri-band and supports GPRS, Wap 2.0, Java and XHTML. There is also vibrating alert to accompany the polyphonic ringtones. 31 are supported by the limited 484kb memory which is non expandable. The handset does come ... Read the complete review

After having a very long and loving relationship to a Nokia 3210, in November 2004 it was finally time for that little phone to travel to the large Mobile phone knackers yard in the sky... However, after buying 2 x Nokia 3100 phones, one for my partner and myself, I am rather glad my old phone finally died. This phone is everything that the 3210 was and a lot more. The factual stuff: The batteries last for ages, if you charge them as per the instructions from day1. on average I get 4 days from mine, and I do a lot of talking and texting. My partners is similar, even though she wouldn't be as maticulous at sticking to the charging rule ... Read the complete review

Great little phone for the money! I got one of these when they were on offer at the carphone warehouse for just £59.99! The phones software is very similar to the more expensive 6100, and i believe it is basically a cut down more trendy version of it! The phone seems to be equivilent of the Sony Ericcson T310... but of a much higher quality! And with better games! WAP is available on the phone, and it is GPRS enabled meaning high speeds! And paying for the amount of information downloaded rather than the time connected. The front and back covers can be changed, although personally i liked the glow in the dark covers my phone came with! ... Read the complete review
