This mobile provides an insight to the new and interesting telecommunications world. It has everything you would want for an ordinary phone for a reasonable price. It has bluetooth, infrared and others. It has the capability of adding more memory so it can be used as a cheap digital camera or as an mp3. It is a very reliable phone with long lasting battery life which up to now has not let me down. It has a large screen compared to other phones and has a slick business style look to it which will not make you feel ashamed of taking it out in public. The Classic made its mark to Nokia's rebirth around the year 2000. Now they are back, marking simplicity, minimal features, basic day to day use phones for someone who does not require the jazz of an on board mp3 player, camera, but may benefit by replacing their old ink screen Nokia 8210 with a color screen. Someone may also enjoy listening to the odd classical FM on their travels, or enjoy taking a picture whilst asking their son/daughter which button to press. Not to presume that I am putting this phone into any age bracket with people.

Look at this phone as a phone, just with a few added benefits. Everyone can be swayed by the newly released posh GPS capable, internet surfing etc etc. But at the end of the day, what you really want to do is phone people and maybe send some text messages. Look no further. I bought my 3110 almost a year ago and it has performed faultlessly. Simple to use, good speech clarity, good battery life. If you wanted to go further, it does have a basic camera and FM radio capability but these are just gimmicks in my opinion. I bought this handphone 2 years back since it launch. One think i kind of attracted to the large font while texting. Maybe i am old but is easy for age people and if you are regular nokia user you tend to know the system well because all the same GUI. Probably i am a loyal fan of Nokia. Casing was tough and believe me i drop dozens of time and still intact only minor scratches here and there. Must be the rubber material enveloping the casing.
