I personally believe that this phone single handedly started the mobile phone revolution and craze in the world. At its prime, almost everyone you knew carried a 3210. Some of the reasons why it became such a hyper craze that it was is its ease of use and simple interface. Also it was an incredibly scaled down in size compared to the other models in production at that time.

When you purchased the Nokia 3210, I remember it coming with just a few simple things. The phone itself, a black battery charger and an instructional booklet. Pretty basic stuff.

The interface of the phone was simple. On one side you had your battery bar which had about six levels. One the other was the signal strength. In the middle was where you saw the name of your mobile provider and pop ups for messages and missed calls whenever they occurred. At the time, this simple and basic interface was considered state of the art and very user friendly.

There were a few basic applications that came with the phone including an SMS function, calculator, alarm and stop watch. We take these things for granted now but at the time it was really amazing that you could fit all these applications into your phone.

You can't write a review about this phone without writing about SNAKE a game that came with the phone. The simple objective of this very addictive game was to 'eat' the pieces of food to make your snake grow as long as possible. Finally you end up filling up the whole screen with your snake and the objective is to get the highest score possible. Your game is over when you hit a wall or your own body. It was fun and a good way to pass your time.

Battery life was good and you could go on a few days without having to charge it on average usage.

Overall, it was a great phone to have as my first mobile phone and it was actually very durable. This considering the countless times i'd actually dropped it.
