Advantages: too many
Disadvantages: none
I brought a Nokia 3210 mobile phone for Christmas 2000, and I have got to say that it is the best phone I have had. It has many features which I have listed below: PHONE BOOK: The phone book has a 90+ name and number memory. This is plenty enough for me, but those of you who have a lot of friends or business contacts, then you may need more. MY SERVICES: This has a list of your phone operators services. I am on BT Cellnet, and for me these include Customer care, Traffic Line and UK directory. This is a very helpful function, as you only have to select them and press O.K., and it dials automatically so you do not have to remember the numbers. TONES: These are excellent. You are already supplied with 40 ringtones, which cannot be deleted when you buy the phone. You can also add one more which you compose yourself using the composer, which is excellent. You can also add one which you have been sent or which you have downloaded off of the internet. CLOCK: You can set the clock, which you can also select to be shown on the front of your phone when you have it on. As well as this, there is also an alarm which you can set. This alarm is not very loud, so when you are asleep, don't leave the phone a long way away from you, as it will not wake you up!!! CALCULATOR: I do not use this much, but it is helpful if you need to use it to add something up in a supermarket etc. GAMES: These are excellent, and improve the phone greatly. There are three different games: - Rotation: Where you have to rotate the numbers until they are in order. -Snake: You have to guide a snake of blocks along your screen, collecting other small blocks. The snake gets bigger with every block you collect and your score increases. -Memory: This is the same as pairs with cards. You have to keep turning cards over until you have a pair, and you complete the whole grid. You have to try and get high scores in all
of these games, and the phone stores your highest score. CALL DIVERT: You can divert your calls to other phones when you are busy etc. SETTINGS: Here you can change your call settings, phone settings, security settings. This is useful. CALL REGISTER: Here you can see your missed calls, received calls, dialed numbers, see how much your calls have cost etc. This is not used very much by me, as I don’t usually miss any calls. MESSAGES: This is excellent. You can send and receive messages to and from other phones. You have to write the messages using your number pad, and you are allowed 160 letters. When you are sent a message, it is automatically saved in your inbox, which is good. It also has predictive typing for messages. This is when you are writing a word, it finishes it for you as it guesses what you are typing in. Sometimes it gets annoying though, as it inputs the wrong words. The phone looks very cool, and many people say sexy. It is quite small, and it has very good technology seeming as it is quite an old phone. You can even change the covers and personalise your phone. The battery can last for up to 260 hours standby time, and up to 270 minutes talk time, which is very reasonable. It weighs 151 grams, which is quite light. I definitely recommend this phone, as it suits everybody. It looks nice and has loads of features. It is a great phone. It is supplied with a charger when you buy it. It will probably cost about £70 now on 'pay as you go', so it is very well priced, as mobile phones are quite expensive. If you want to get it on contract, then they give them away for free, but you have to pay a monthly line rental. HAPPY CALLING!!!
