Advantages: features, reliable, sturdy

Disadvantages: old

The 3210 is classic phone. ITs gaining age now and unfortunately is not in production (i dont know why) but if you want one you can buy it from your local phone shop 2nd hand normally for about £40. Well thats what im selling mine for

The phone has many features both in the software the phone has and the exterior. First i will tell you about the exterior. You can buy X-press on fronts allowing you to peronalise your phone with minimum hassle these come from £5 and go up to £15. The covers also come with different colours and designed keypads, although these normally come with any cover you buy if they brake or are lost you can buy them for around £3.

Now for the software inside the phone;
*sms messaging-
In this feature you can send messages costing 10-12p depending on what network provider you are with. These "text" messages consist of you using the letters on the keypad to create a message. The maximum number of characters you can use in this process is 160. The number of messages possible varies on which capacity sim card you have from 10-20 messages. There is also the option of dreports- were a text message is sent back to you when the person you sent the sms to haas received it. This is a free service and can be turned on via going to messages on the menu then going to message setting, now you are on a screen with 4 settings choose common and on the delivery reports section change this to yes. The Picture messaging service is also available. This si were you can send pictures more comlex than the picture sms ones that are going around. These cost 3 times the amount of a normal sms.

*the phone book-
There are many different features within the phone book such as;
A good way of storing peoples mobile numbers(no more writing address books yipee!) There can be up to 200 numbers stored. 100 on the actual phone and 100 on the sim card. Making it hard for even the most active buisnessman to use all of those s
lots!

Most phone books have the most important numbers preset for you (you cant delete these!) These numbers include; 1471 on 02, top up credit, balance, directories, callback, callback 901 and customer care.

Buisness card you can send certain numbers in your address book to others at the charge of a sms message. You would use theis e.g when you have just changed your number etc

Assign tone a vision of the future made now! Sick of picking up the phone and wishing you hadn't. Perhaps you have pulled a sickie or are 2 timing a woman and you really wished you didnt pick up. Well now you can assign tones to certain places so you know wether or not to pick up. Perhaps one could be work so if you're pulling a sickie and are at the pub you just won't answer it. What a great idea!

*Call register- missed a call? want to know who it was then go here this is were you find out all of the satistics from your phone such as; missed calls, received calls, dialled numbers, call duration (were you find out how long the last call was and how long calls you have made altogether), call costs, and prepaid credit. a great way to find out everything to do with calls.

*settings--call settings. In call settings there are 4 different possible changes you can make; automatic redial; were if you call someone and the line is engaged the phone will automaticaly redial five times, speed dialing; were instead of having to type in the whole phone number you just hit one button and it calls, call waiting options and own number sending here you can change whether or not you want your number sent to the other person while calling if the setting is on, on you will always send your number, if its on off you will never send your number and if its on preset your phone operator decides.

The other settings are; language- perhaps you dont speak english or this phone is for someone that doesnt speak English, you can chose from 13 different lang
uages, a pin code- protect your phone against thiefs put a pin code on, you will have to put it in every time you turn your phone on, and restore factory settings-using your security pin code (12345) if it has not been changed you can restore the whole phone to its origional settings.

Games- a childs dream to have a tiny console with good games on it. Here it is the games consist of rotation (hav'nt really worked out how to play this yet) snake (ooohh the classic!) and memory (similar to pairs) these games will keep you entertained whil you wait for that all important call.

There is also a calculator- do your maths homework on this (easy to hide)

The clock were you can set the time (12 hour/24 hour) alarm clock- never be late up again with this ascending tone and the date (self explainitry)

Tones- persnalise your ringer with many different tones that you can change with two spare ringtones for you to personalise. Also in this section you can compose your own tone, you can also set the sms alert tone, there are many different websites that you can download tones onto your phone some free some cost up to £6.

This phone is available in all networks pay as you go or contract it doesnt matter.

Overall this phone is a reliable sturdy exellent phone for those that want a mobile to phone people and not to be up to date. Although its not that old

Another excellent review - well done ;)

You might want to avoid posting more than one review a day as people only tend to read the most recent. You'll get more reads that way ;)
