NOKIA 3310- Voice dialling, predictive text and even more games. Anybody considering a phone change or buying a new one, this is the one that I would recommend.


I had the NOKIA 3210 previously and had been very impressed with that model until I came across this one. It has all the aspects of the 3210 and more.

DIMENTIONS- the phone itself is smaller than my hand, the length measuring 113mm long and 48mm wide.And that includes the battery.

It is not very heavy so it is handy to take around in your handbag or pocket.



PHONEBOOK- holds up to 250 names. And it allows you to voice dial up to 8 names. This was one of the main features that attracted me to the phone and I found it very handy to use when using my hands free.

Voice dialing can be so easy to use,I did wonder if it could recognize different accents but we've had no problem.You can use it in different languages too.

I couldn't be without my voice acctivated dialing now,it's so easy say 'mum' and the 3310 does it all for you.Why wait around trying to key in the number to get in touch with your mates?Get one of these and no more messing!



RINGING TONES – There are 35 fixed tones to choose from, they are anything from jingle bells to the Charleston but also 7 of your own tones. You can either choose to compose your own or buy them. If you buy them these are sent to your mobile via Text. When you receive them you must save them and then listen after. At the moment I have the Flintstones and Simpson’s.



CALL MANAGEMENT-Includes last number redial, automatic redial if engaged and various speed dialling methods. I always find these very useful if you use a particular number quite often.

Speed dialing lets you key in a phone number and then assign it to a certain number , for example 2.When you want to ring this num
ber you just have to press 2 instaed of searching the phonebook or keying in the number.Another way to speed up your time!


PHONE FEATURES- Downloadable features, mine has DOOYOO on at present.This means you can have your own choice of picture on your screen.

Screen saver, any of your received picture messages can be displayed as a screen saver.Or if you have any sent to you ,you can use these.

There is also a Currency converter, a stopwatch, alarm clock and calculator, all of these being available on the 3210.
But this phone also has reminders; these are handy to let you know where you are meant to be and when.

Another feature are the 4 excellent games to play, my daughter enjoys playing on these. The new Vibra feature makes the phone vibrate at critical moments in the game.



SHORT MESSAGE SERVICE- this is pretty much the same as the old Nokia but has moved on a lot more. There are 7 predefined picture messages to send and an empty slot to add your own. But the advantage that I found on it is that it allows you to write messages 3 times longer than usual and SMILES, quick and easy insertion of edible smiles in SMS, a good way to try and add fun to your messages. There are various ones on the built in template.



ADVANCED MESSAGING- This is a new chat feature which lets you send messages to friends and family while keeping track of the whole conversation. It is amazing and easy and cheap to use. The 3310 automatically connect up to 3 text messages giving you plenty of space to get the message across.


I have always liked the NOKIA phones and have had them for years. I tend to swap my phone once a year and have always stuck with them because I have never had any problem with them. And to be quite honest the look of the phone attracts me to them too. Some others I feel look quite cheap although they are meant to be very good. I do feel that the NOKIA does look the trendiest of
the models and after all these years the extras that are now coming with it are excellent too. My favourite features being the Voice Dial everybody would find this very helpful and the phone very enjoyable to use.
