Advantages: Small, Light, Easy to use

Disadvantages: Not VERY cheap

As a previous user of the rather clunky Alcatel Club DB, and as I was wanting a tarriff change, I decided to go for a new Nokia 3210 or 3310. I admit the possibility of composing my own ring tones appealed more than it should have done, but as I did more research I found there was a lot more a Nokia could ofer me.

If you already have a 3210 then I wouldn't honestly recommend that shell out the money on a 3310. To summarise the differences in the functions, basically the 3310 has;
- Different Preset Tones
-More Space for Composed/Downloaded Ringtones (7)
-An essentially useless 'screeensaver' function which allows you to display a still, picture message type icon instead of your screen after a short time.
- Vibrate function. This is less powerful than the 7110 but effective in most circumstances.
- Voice activated dialling. Only efficient if you speak like Stephen Hawkins, which I don't, therefore it rarely works. A nice toy nonetheless, with room for 7 voice-activated numbers.
- Different Games. Snake 2 is an updated version of Snake, which is more customisable, as you can turn on or off the walls, as well as having bonus things to swallow for more points, and the score displayed on screen as you play. Space Impact is a side-scrolling shoot-em-up style game, which makes good use of the vibrate function. Pairs 2 is just pairs, with cowboy themed graphics, and Bantumi is a strategy game with many complicated rules, involving dropping handfuls of beans into pots. It's better than it sounds!
- The chat function is less exciting than it sounds, being no more than a way of having text message conversations in the style of a chat room. Each message will still cost you the normal fee however.
