Advantages: Light, Small, Nokia
Disadvantages: Pricey, Games, Annoying beepy noises
The Nokia 3310 is the 3210’s bigger, yet younger, brother. Smaller in size, yet, bigger in the feature department. I have had my mobile device for some 3 months now, and as of yet, have had no problems with it. Its on the BT Cellnet pay and go, which as a side note, is extremely good value for money. Maybe ill write an op on that another time. Here’s a break down of the phones features, and what I think of them: · Phone Book – Store all your important names and numbers. A great and powerful tool beats writing on a scrap of paper, or in a shoddy note pad. On my phone I can store 99 numbers, but it’s dependent on the sim card – so I guess I can’t comment on that. · Messages – The wave of SMS has swept the nation, and your little mate will happily surf along just as efficiently as all of your mate’s phones. With predictive text input, you’ll be texting in minutes. Also you can store pre written messages, so if your in a rush, texting will still be a breeze. · Chat – Personally I have never used this function so I can’t really comment on it. However what I do know is that it costs a lot of money to use, and is basically the same as SMS messaging. Give it a miss if I were you. Then again I’m not am I. Shut up James you’re wandering. · Call Register – Here you can keep a record of all your “Dialled”, “Received”, and “Missed” calls. Pretty useful if you want to remember so and so’s number from last night · Tones – Here you can dabble in the annoying art of setting your ring-tone, or maybe putting a flashy graphics on the front of your phone. Very exciting stuff as mobiles go. · Settings – Tweak the baby! Customise your phone: whether you want your phone as tight as fort nocks, or as loose as, well ill leave that one to the imagination: it ca be done here – in settings! Ta-Da. · Ca
ll Divert – If you’re on contract then you can divert all your calls to a landline – nifty. · Games – You can play Snake 2, Space Impact, Bantumi, or Pairs. All a pile of steamy stuff. Just call someone up – it’s a lot more fun. However that space game is pretty decent for a phone! Let me tell you! · Calculator – Need I say more? It’s not as good as the ones I use for A-Level Maths. ‘Nuf Said. · Reminders – Like a small database of all your appointments on your phone. Handy if you’re a busy man. Or woman. · Clock – Well it tells the time and you’ve got an alarm clock. Wahoo · Profiles – One touch setting of the whole phones settings to the environment your in. Very handy if your going from noisy suburbia to quiet important meeting type situation. · My Services – Totally dependant on your Network, mine are both annoying because if you delete them out of your phonebook they come back. And also crap because they’re pointless. Well that concludes my rather nice opinion. It’s only a little one, but it says what I think. Also it’s a mobile phone – so I don’t get carried away. As you may have noticed. Other useful points 1. Battery life is exceptional 2. If dropped, it normally gets up before the count 3. You can change the covers – I have got a pretty blue one on. 4. You can change the buttons – I have got some pretty blue ones on. 5. Call quality is very good 6. Reception is very good Some more useful info on the phone 1. On pay-as-you-go it normally cost around £100 - £130 2. On contract it can be picked up for nothing 3. You can even get cash back 4. Check out www.nokia.com for info on the phone. 5. Check out www.carphonewarehouse.co.uk for help with choosing your network package. Bye for now James
