I've had my 3310 for about a year now, and I feel its the perfect phone for me and probably many others.

Making a phone-call is simple, just dial the number and press the large button. You can store about 100 of your friends' numbers, and then phoning them is just the push of a button. Very simple! A special feature on the phone is voice dialling. This is where you can assign your voice to a phone number, and when repeating the word or name used, your phone automatically dials your chosen friend. (You must press a button first for it to work, so there is no chance of dialling accidentally).

Text Messaging is also very easy with the phone. When using the 'predictive text' feature, you can speedily tap the buttons with it guessing your words, helping you to finish your message in a matter of seconds. The cost of text messaging depends on your network. I am on BTCellnet, which charges me a fair 10p per text.

Another special feature on the phone is 'Chat'. This is like chatting on the net, but it cost as much as a txt for each small message, so I rarely use this. Although, a nice idea.

You get 35 ringtones when you buy the phone, with 7 spaces for adding your own. You can use the composer to create your own tunes, or send some to your phone via the internet. The phone vibrates when your phone rings and when you receive a text message, which is very useful when your phone is on silent.

You can change many of the settings on your phone, such as creating welcome messages etc. With the 3310, you also get screensavers which appear when your phone is inactive. Using these is optional and can be switched off.

Four games are included in the 3310. Snake II, Space Impact, Bantumi and Pairs II. The most popular is Snake II, the new improved version of 'Snake' on previous Nokia phones. It's more detailed graphically and contains optional mazes to test yourself with.

A calculator is in
cluded in the phone, which is obviously useful at times. An alarm clock is also available (it's very loud), as well as reminders, which you can set to remind you to do something at a certain time.

Accesories
3310's have changeable fascias to match your personality and mood. A fascia is the outer-casing of the mobile phone, and on the 3310 they can be removed by simply pressing a button and sliding it off.
With the phone, you also get a charger. The phone takes just a few hours to charge and what I prefer to do is leave it charging throughout the night, so it's ready and reliable the day after.
Hands-free kits are also quite popular, but I don't have one.

The 3310 is a great mobile phone and I definitely recommend it to anyone. It costs £100, which may sound pricey to some, but it really is worth it, as it's complex, yet easy to use and understand.
