Advantages: Easy to use, Good, compact design, Perfect for the begginer
Disadvantages: Not ideal for a gadget guru
The Nokia 3310 is the second phone which I have purchased and I am not at all disappointed. The features of the phone have become quite basic with the introduction of colour and photos. However for someone who wants to buy a phone so that they can phone people the Nokia 3310 is perfect. The phone isn`t exactly stuck in the stone age as it has many good options. The phone has 4 games, bantumi, pairs, snake 2 and space invaders. They aren`t exactly PS2 standard but they pass a few boring moments on the bus or if you are waiting for someone. The phone has a good range of ringtones and has space for 7 extra ringtones which can be composed or sent to your phone. There is a few picture messages and there is yet again space for more if you choose to do so. The Nokia 3310 also supplies a calculator, clock, alarm and reminders. I am very surprised at the amount of time the phone can stay on for without having to be charged. I once managed to get it to stay on for over a week and I made about three calls. The phone is also very light, compared to the phone which I previously had. It is compact without being microscopic. You won`t need a toothpick to operate the handset. The best thing about the Nokia 3310 is the price to buy. If you are trading in your old phone you could get the Nokia 3310 for around £60. I managed to get it for £70 without a trade in from "The Link." The Nokia 3310 is a basic phone which is perfect for someone who is not interested in high pixel photos or great quality games. The reception quality is excellent and the layout of the menu is attractive and easy to use. If you buy this phone you will not be puzzling over the instruction manual for hours as you can`t find the call button. It is simple, in a good way. I strongly suggest that you go out and buy the Nokia 3310

- 30/07/03 Sounds like my kind of phone. Hey, hold on - it is my phone! Well, the next model up from mine anyway. (No swanky colour screens or pictures for me) Nokias are great. They make phone calls and if you need to you can text people. No faffing about doing stuff you don't really need. Lovely.
