Advantages: Easy to use, Price

Disadvantages: dating just a little

I am not a technophile, just the average Joe Bloggs that has a mobile phone just in the case of an emergency, and a typical call would be Mrs Bloggs phoning me to tell me that she’d run out of milk, and to stop and get some on the way home from work. The Nokia 3410 is ideal for people like me, its so easy to use and I think it must now be one of the cheapest on the market. Yes I’ve stood in phone shops eyeing all the different brands and models and the conclusion I’ve come to is that although some other brands may have the edge on style, Nokia in general takes a bit of beating when it comes to practicality and ease of use.

The weight of the 3410 is 114 grams and once again may be little heavier than the more up to date ones, but its not enormous and quite easily fits in pocket or handbag. I probably only spend a few minutes, and send the odd message in a day, but have found it only needs re-charging every five to six days and that seems pretty good to me. There are plenty of features on it, that is, messages, call register, profiles, settings, reminders, games, applications and other extras. The screens can also be personalised with animated screen savers. One little feature on it, the predicted messaging is something I’ve never been able to master and although I know people that have, it always ends up gobbledegook when I try it.

One major plus I found with the 3410 over the 3310 and that is the less likelihood of phoning someone accidentally at the most inopportune moments, and I guess that’s probably why a call, and end call button was added to the 3410. Its always a good idea though to lock the keypad when not in use.

If you’re a person that wants the latest in technology this mobile isn’t for you, but if you’re the average ‘Joe Bloggs’ its still a great little practical, easy to use mobile.

Welcome to Dooyoo.

A few tips to get you started on the site: Although there's no limit on the amount of reviews you can post it's better to post just three a day then you'll find you get more reads. If you read and rate around the site you'll soon find out what should be included in a review plus you'll get known to other members which will result in them reading things that you post.

It’s always a good idea to write your reviews as though you are writing for someone who has never heard of the product, that way you’ll cover everything. Also it’s best to write your review in Microsoft Word and run a spellchecker before posting onto the site.

You can ask any of the guides for help with any aspect of the site and a list of all the guides can be found here http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/c ommunity/_page/advice_gui des/. They will do everything they can to help with your query.
