Nokia 3410- A great little phone! (Nokia 3410)

I thought that I would like to give you a fairly short review on the nokia 3410.
I got my phone for Christmas(2002) and it was with Virgin Mobile. Firstly, Virgin are a joint venture between Virgin group and T...Mobile. They are great and have a useful feature called VirginXtras which is a voice activated info service like WAP but a recorded voice talking. You don't need wap to access this service. They have many other great services but this review is about Nokia 3410 so I will talk about this.

The phones are about the same size as the 3310 and 3330 I believe. They are aqua but you can purchase those xpress covers of your choice. There are silver rubber buttons. To turn it on/off there is a button on the top of the model which is quite long. You press this down for a few secs.

The phones display shows how good the reception/signal the phone is getting- 0 being none, 5 being full signal. On the other side is the usual battery display. To charge the battery can take up to 4 or something like that hours. Please bear this in mind!

The phone has a menu with settings, address book, WAP, Voicemail, Settings and a wide range of ringtones and games with downloads. The phone has many additional features. The normal ones and those little extras that make your phone a bit more "cool".

WAP varies depending on your service provider like Virgin, O2, Vodafone, T...Mobile, Orange, Alpha and all the others I have missed out. The WAP prices also differ from service provider.

You can do the normal with the ringtones and you can download ringtones from the magazines, internet and all those. You know, the ones with music. I haven't yet so I can't tell you how.

Games- there are 5. Snake 2, Space Impact and other games. You can download like the ringtones.

VIRGIN MOBILE
I know this is about the Nokia 3410 but I would like to say that Virgin Mobile are great! You don't hear much of them as no
t many people have them. Like I said before, you can go to VirginXtras voice activated service or WAP(if your phone is WAP compatible). Prices are good too. If you visit their website at www.virginmobile.com then you can follow the links and you can select to set up for Free Text messages if you are registered in. You choose what you want for them to send. Whether you want Entertainment like music, TV, Gossip, Sport, Horoscopes, Cinema Listings, Travel, Staying In and more then they are great. Also, to access Voicemail is free although if your on pay as you go you need airtime- even though it is free- weird?!

Virgin Mobile and the Nokia 3410 are brill! Highly reccommended
