Advantages: Clip on faces, easy navigation through menus., Ergonomic design
Disadvantages: No color in menus what so ever, No advanced features.
This phone can be considered good and bad at the same time so i will try and cover both perspectives. 1) from the guy that just sold his Bosch and wants a new look. the one that dosent need al the extra gadgets and just wants something simple. This phone is an improvement from the old models and as the 34 class suggests it is a personal phone. This is made to be both affordable and effective at the same time. The clip-on faces is real handy in assembly but the side clippers and the top hangers can brake rather easily with harsh conditions.A soft green light that provides medium lighting is atached below the keyboard and above the screen. The software it comes with is just nice. It's menus are animated and can give the phone a friendly look, not to mention the quick menu selection. This phone is practical and can sent SMS-es at a maximum of 400 letters. The T9 is very well implemented and writing messeges is very easy. A rather major disfuncton is the low volume speaker and in a modern city with all the sonic interference it can get to be a real pain. But this is the phone of choise for anyone that wants to get rid of their old phone. 2)from the guy that has phone experiance and switched them more often than shirts. he is used to to-notch phones with more thingy-ma-gimmicks than a NASA console. This phone launched by Nokia, a trade complany, is suposed to be a medim phone but i cant even put it as beeing low-quality. Among it's main disadvantages is the non-color screen, one type of lightening, no mp3 player, no camera, no cool games excluding the ever omni-present Snake, easy brakeing and many others. The only thing good about this phone is the clip-on faces that can really be beautyfull and a few other minor things. Suggestion: stash that money for something that can actually be worth while like a Siemens M55.

- 25/01/05 I've had one of these for a couple of years. It's a budget phone, I got it free with a years contract. It works well. One of the other reviews says the speaker volume is low. In fact you can adjust it with the up or down keys when in a call and it can be adjusted very loud. It has a vibrator which is handy. The display is fairly poor and the sound quality mediocre and has the usual choice of irritating built in ringtones. But having said that, as a budget phone I doubt you will get beter. It has no aerial to break which is good if you tend to give your phone a rough time. You can buy a cable for uploading ringtones and phone management etc but this will not allow you to upload midlets to the phone. The cable also plugs in under the battery which is really impractical.
S teve.
