Advantages: easy to use, cheap, good manufacturer

Disadvantages: bit big and heavy

Having had a Nokia 3330 on contract for some time , the time came when it was time for a change - sad as it was to see the back of the old legend that is the 3330!!! I phoned up my provider who suggested the 3510i and decided to take their advice. (Best Mobile decision I ever made) Over the first few days i noticed the similarites with my old phone - It was great - I was a much improved 3330 basically.

The phone has 12 options in the main menu - these are -

1 - Phone book - As with all mobiles i kno, it comes complete with a phone book where you can store the numbers of ur bessies and the ones you love - often finding numbers of girls i dont kno - OH WELL! Its very easy to delete numbers if you no longer use them too. Use can set Speed dials with ur 9 favourite numbers - example storing my mums number under (1) meaning that by dialling (1) and then ringing i get through to my mum without searching through a lengthy phone book or typin the number in. There are Voice tags also which work similar to above - however using a voice activation.

2- Messages -Being a contract phone user I do have access to 600 free texts per month - finding it tedious to count up how many id used, i often received my bill finding I had more than used my allocation and had a nice big bill infront of me. My friend used his old allocation of 1200 free texts to such an extent they barred him - oh dear. Neway my point here is that by checkin in the Call Register i have a vacility which tells me how many texts ive sent - then after each bill comes in i reset this - meaning i can keep track of the texts and stop myself spendin a fortune. The message box holds many many messages. It even has the facility to save the messages you send out into a handy Outbox. This can be handy at times, but on the other hand it means the message box fills quicker.

3- Call Register - Phone gives you the usual call register. This is basically a tracking device for call received, mis
sed calls and such like. You can also see the length of the calls and such like.

4 - Tones-Comes complete with the usual tacky ringtones, but you could always buy new ones. I tend to have my phone on silent, so there is no need for tones for me. In this option you can also alter the volume. As with most phones on the market now, this phone has the well known vibrating alert - where the phone will vibrate when receivin a messahe or a call - Vibration is an added bonus :op

5 - Profiles - Lets you choose how ur phone operates in different environments by selecting and customising a combination of phone settings.

6- Settings - This allows you to alter the time and date - divert calls and change the phone menu language etc - very useful.

7 - Gallery - Means you can manage any image and audio files on your phone into suitable folders.

8 - Games - You of course have access to the usual few games. Best of which here is a Skydiving game. Tiz fun - but snake it better. You then have an extras option which gives u a calcuator, timer and a stopwatch to name a few.

9 - Organiser - Gives you features which will help you remember daily tasks - with a calender and an alarm clock - very useful

10 - Applications - Lets you use and manage applications on your fone - gives you info on the phone memory also - interesting addition

11 - Extras - This includes a calculator , a timer and a wallet function - very useful and effective.

12 - Services - This is the WAP access on the phone. You can send emails, use chatrooms and check out the latest football scores. Great on the train or bus.

Better battery life, meaning no constant recharging after a nights heaving texting, lighter in weight and the added novelty of a coloured screen. Ok maybe it doesnt have an inbuilt camera, and maybe it aint the size of a matchbox - but hey its a great phone for someone who doesnt need an all singing and dancing mobil
e.

When not using the phone the standard screensaver is a clock, meaning you can easily keep track of time.

Would recommend highly! Nice phone and doesnt cost an arm and a leg either!
