By todays standards this phone was rather weighty, mainly down to the size of the removal battery at the back. I remember not taking the phone out on many occassions, mainly because I couldn't be bothered with the additional weight in my hang bag. It really was that heavy! The Nokia 5130 was possibly the first mobile phone I ever owned. By todays standards its a very basic phone, but back when I was a teenager i was all the rage. One of the featuers that made it so popular was the ability to remove the front cover and replace it with a personalised one. I had a gold coloured cover with made the mobile phone look very flash.
