Advantages: Protective outer case, water proof, easy to use
Disadvantages: A bit odd looking
A friend sold this odd little phone to me. After always dropping my old phone on concrete floors and even into a pint once! She announced that this phone was designed with me in mind!
It's meant to be be drop proof and water resistant but mine has survived more than its fair share of bad luck. After quite a few clumsy incidents it proved that it really is water resistant and even a bit waterproof after it fell out of my back pocket down the lav! It was in the water for a while before i was brave enough to fish it out and sure enough it still worked.
I've thought about getting a shiny silver trendy phone but i really don't think it would be so forgiving.
It is light and small and has all the usual Nokia features.The great thing about Nokias' is that once you've owned one phone the format is the same for all of them so no more searching through pages of instructions to work out how to switch the thing on!

The reason I've only rated it as "Somewhat useful" is because I feel you could say a bit more about the phone (e.g. what features has it got other than being waterproof and drop-resistant?)
My biggest tip for you is to read around the site and rate everything you read, leave some comments as well. You'll soon get the hang of it and make friends.
