Advantages: Good nokia, never froze or broke, long life

Disadvantages: Speaker quality for a music phone

I brought the black version of this phone from o2 for about £30 at the time as i had money off from being on o2.

Ive still got it a year later and ive never had any problems with it, its never froze or locked up and the slide function is still working a treat, its nice and compact and easily fits in your pocket without weighing a ton, there is an expandable slot for a micro sd card which you get with the phone when brought new, its an essential upgrade especially if you want to put music on your phone as the onboard memory is useless for storing a few songs.

The camera is nothing special but being over a year old now and costing £30 you pay for what you get in my opinion but i wasnt getting it for the camera, it also has an fm radio which is good but can only be played if your headphones are connected to the phone else its useless.

Being a music phone i expected the speakers to be half decent but sadly they are nothing special, i can imagine compared to any standard phone they are slightly better but unless i had one next to me i would'nt be able to tell, it has that 'tinny' sound you get from most mobiles when on loudspeaker and any bass coming from the song usually results in the distorted noise, sound is slightly better when having headphones plugged in and doesnt suffer from so much distortion.

Messaging on the phone like all nokias is probably the best around, easy and registers each letter no matter how fast u can text, battery life is very good even now for its age it will last for a good few days but does die down quicker whilst making a call.

Overall i have enjoyed this phone alot, the only one so far that ive havent had any problems with and does everything that it says on the box, highly recommended for an all round phone.
