Advantages: Goos music qualirt with stereo FM radio, slim design
Disadvantages: mostky about poor camera
Sony Ericsson's walkman series phones are very popular in music category and they have evergreen popularity all the time. Nokia has announced some models of its phone targeting music lovers and create close competition with Sony Ericsson's walkman phones. The new series from Nokia is called as XpressMusic and some popular models now in market like Nokia 5300 which has a sliding design and recently launched Nokia 5310.

This phone has very attractive design with god features and here I will discuss about its design, features with advantages and disadvantages also.
***
Design
First of all the main attractive point is its slim and attractive body design with dedicated music keys, dimension of this phone measured as 103.8 x 44.7 x 9.9 mm, and if we consider its thickness than it it about 1cm, very slim design with ultra light weight as about 71 grams. Phone is completely designed with ultra light weight and slim construction and it fells solid in hands with its superb construction.
***
Display and size
Next point is its display size and that is more or less similar to its previous model and it is about 240 x 320 pixels, 2.1 inches, 31.5 x 41.5 mm with 16 millions of colors. In bright condition I had some problem with its display and difficult to see the text but in indoor uses it has good enough brightness and contrast.
***
memory mantra
Memory size of phone is reasonable with having micro SD card slot with maximum 8GB support. Phone is generally has a purpose for music, and it has sufficient support capacity for storage. And the good point in this card is that it support hotswap technology where we can eject card without keeping phone switch off and it will not make any harm to our DATA so its latest technology for peace of mind with secure DATA. Phone also has an internal memory about 30 MB for applications messages and contacts, that is more or less sufficient for internal DATA storage.
***
connectivity
And if we consider its connectivity solutions than it has some traditional features without having 3G capability. Available connectivity features are GPRS Class 32 HSCSD , EDGE Class 32, up to 177 kbits of transfer rate, Bluetooth having v2.0 with A2DP and last USB connectivity with v2.0 microUSB. The main feature here disappeared and that should be 3G solutions. Due to keeping phone as in middle range Nokia didn't provided it but if it would be there than this phone may become a perfect slim phone in all aspects.
***
Phone is completely dedicated to music and good FM radio also has been provided with Stereo FM radio with RDS, but stereo sound be only possible in stereo handsfree. But overall it is excellent feature and almost all music category phones have this feature.
***
Point of camera
Another point that should be consider is its camera with 2 MP, 1600x1200 pixels and I don't think that is a good camera because 2MP is not a good resolution but it is average camera and the bad thing here is that camera doesn't have flash or auto focus, and it works very slow.
***
Some extra good features are 3.5 mm standard jack, where you can connect this phone to your speaker system and has a good battery life with Standard battery, Li-Ion 860 mAh (BL-4CT).
***
Bottom line
Over all this is a good music phone but the quality of music doesn't match with Sony Ericsson's walkman series phones. In terms of price it has an average price but we can get better walkman series phone with this price.
Summary: having slightly higher price, it is average music phone
