Advantages: 3.5mm jack, slimness & 2gb card in the box

Disadvantages: Average battery life, music loading time after turning phone on from shutdown

I bought this phone as I lost my iPod and phone. I decided I would replace both of them with one device as it would be cheaper.

I looked on the internet, and decided this phone would be the best. The specialist music buttons appeal, but are actually rather pointless I feel. The phone feels VERY thin, and it plays all music formats including M4A so I didn't have to convert my iPods' music. And it has support for cover art and it reads the ID3 tags.

I bought the phone for £100 in Vodafone and it came with a 2gb memory card, this is plenty for some, but I wish I had more space (some call me greedy :P)

One bad point is that if you turn the phone off, then turn it on, it takes a long time to look for all your songs in the library, and the phone is useless in that time.

A major plus point is the 3.5mm jack, it means that you can use ordinary headphones with it, I see my friends phone, and I smile because I dont have to use an adaptor to use my own headphones.

The 2mp camera isnt too bad if you put the picture setting to maximum, but if you try and take pictures of moving things it isnt that good as there is a tiny delay between pressing capture and it taking the picture, and on the highest setting it takes a while to save the picture.

I tried to take pictures of fireworks, and only one or two went how I wanted, the others all were after, or I missed big fireworks waiting for one to save. If you try and zoom in, it severly reduces picture quality, so only do that if you have to.

The speaker is moderately loud, it seems quite quiet outside but it isn't that bad, it dosent feel worth plugging in speakers that are only a bit louder for the extra bulk, so only plug it in if you are boosting it a lot really.

The radio only works if headphones are plugged in as it uses them as an arial. Another feature is that it plays java games.

I love this phone for how slim it is and how it serves the music needs I have well enough, the only things I would improve is the camera, and how it finds the music, so it had a file telling you where the music was, instead of it searching for the music everytime you turn it on.

Summary: A great phone

Interesting but how does it work as a phone?
