Advantages: Very easy to use and stylish
Disadvantages: Screen gets a bit mucky
I have never really ventured far from Nokia in my lifetime of being a mobile phone user. I have always found the phones to be extremely durable and up to date with all the latest gadgets. The latest Nokia 5800 does not disappoint!!
The phone is really very straightforward to use. The touchscreen is extremely easy to use and very responsive with either your finger or the stylus pen that comes with the phone (they also send you a spare in the box in case you lose it). The menus are very similar to previous nokias so if you have had a nokia in the past you can pretty much navigate yourself around with ease.
The music features on this phone are very impressive and the internal memory holds quite a large capacity of music without the need for a memory card.
The camera equally is very good with lots of additional features such as ability to take black and white and sepia photographs. It is easy to connect to your PC to transfer these files either with the supplied data cable or through bluetooth.
The phone came with a case that the phone slides into, this would have bee better if it had a flap or someway of opening it to get to the phone without having to slide it out every time you need to use it. The only other critism that I have is that the screen seems to get fingerprints on quite easily but I would guess that this would be the case with most touch screen phones.
Battery seems to last me on average 3 - 4 days so quite satisfactory so far.
Overall I am really really pleased with this phone.
Summary: A very easy to use phone that has all the features one would need
