The nokia 5800 Xpress music heralded nokia's 1st sucessfull entry into the touch screen phone market having had 2 previous low key entry's that failed to take hold. It comes with a 640 x 360 screen in widescreen 16:9 format, has a 3.2 megapixel carl zeiss lens camera, capable of video conferencing calls via a second camera on the front of the phone.The phone is really a mini computer based around an arm 11 cpu running the symbian operating system and 128 mb of sd ram, this phone has all the features you would ever need of a mobile communication device bluetooth 2, WLAN, micro SDHC card slot for removable memory cards upto 32 gb, usb connectivity (micro) ,headphone and video out ports. On the software side you have loads of applications inc media player mp3 mp4 aac aac+ wma m4a playback media file types. Sound quality is exellent as is picture quality, the phone looks and design are of a very high quality. The only qualm being the battery life when being used heavily doesn't last more than 3-4 hours.
On the whole I love the 5800 and would not change for or upgrade it until it fails me.
