Advantages: Really good battery life

Disadvantages: Screen sometimes freezes

I got this phone on an upgrade with Vodafone. I basically wanted a phone that calls and texts as i'm not too worried about having one that plays music, takes photos and clears up for you! Still my partner and the sales advisor said i was better off going for something top of the range and it was a choice between this phone and a Blackberry. After fiddling around with the Balackberry for a while i decided it definitely wasn't for me and waited until they had a Nokia 5800 in. I believe they sell them in most phone retailers nationwide, although there was quite a delay on mine and i ended up calling customer services to deliver one to me rather than waiting for one to arrive instore. Mine was obviously free as part of the contract but if you buy them sim free they are around £229.00. When mine arrived it comes with a spare stylus which is really handy but i don't often use mine so hopefully i won't lose it. It also comes with a case to protect, charger, memory card and handsfree headphones. It's a touch screen phone which took a bit of getting used to but as i have quite small hands and fingers i adjusted easily - i do wonder how people with larger fingertips get on though? You can make calls, send texts and emails, watch videos, take photos, listen to music, play games, download various applications, use gps and it also has al the standard phone applications like calendar and alarms etc. I quite like this phone although i'm a bit of a technophone. The battery life lasts forever - it has never lost battery since i've had it although i do charge it most evenings although it lasted a whole week in Egypt without any charging. I sent around fifty texts over the course of that week which is not my typical usage but i was still quite surprised that the battery didn't cut out. The only problem i have had with this phone is that it once (with full battery) just decided to switch itself off and i coudn't switch it on for a few hours. And also the screen sometimes freezes which is really annoying. Other than this i'm quite pleased with it.
