Nokia 5800 best phone I have ever had it could be a iPhone killer (Nokia 5800 XpressMusic)

Introduction

After my Samsung U600 Broke and I had to go back to using a cheaper older phone of mine I waited until my contract expired and then went to the mobile phone shop to upgrade my mobile phone.

Pros and Cons

My opinion

Looks and Feel

The phone itself looks very good my phone is black and red, the red is a small line that goes around the phone to be honest you don't really notice it. The screen is very big and clear it works very well.

The feel of the phone is not very good, it does fit very nicely into one hand and you can easily use the phone with one hand however the phone does have a cheap feel to it. The cheap feel does not come from the front of the phone the screen looks and feels good but it's the back of the phone that feels cheap.

Ease of use

The phone is very easy to use once you get used to it. The phone only has five buttons on it. Three on the front, one on the side (This is used to lock and unlock the phone) and one on the top (This is used to power the phone on and off) If you want to call somebody then all you have to do is press one button to access the menu and then choose the phonebook option by using the touch screen, the phone is very easy and simple to use.

Features

The phone has lots of very good features I will list the main ones
2 Cameras (One on the front, one on the back 3.2 Mp) I think that the camera on the front is not very good but I can see that if you want to make video calls. The main camera is the 3.2 mp and I have used it to take pictures of my holiday to Dublin and I took some photos of my friends and the camera has worked very well.

Music player the phone has a music player, which is very good and works well with the touch screen interface
There is integrated GPS in the phone and their also comes with Nokia maps that is a very good app I have used the GPS for navigation while being driven around in cars and also for walking and the times when it has gotten a fix on satellites it has worked very well but more than often when I have wanted to use it I have been waiting for a long time to get a satellite fix and have failed to get a signal and it has annoyed me to be honest.

The Wifi on the phone works very well I have been using it to booze the Internet and sometimes go on msn when I'm not near my computer but still can access wifi. The wifi works well and I have not had any problems accessing a number of networks.

Price and Availability

I got this phone on contract paying £40 a month for 18 months and paid £60 for the phone. I think that is a okay deal.

The cheapest price I have found this phone for online is £219.87 of Amazon.co.uk but I personally think this is very expensive and your best bet would properly be to go to your local phone shop and get a deal their.

Overall

This is the best phone I have ever owned in my life, it looks good and is very easy to use. I'm pleased about the way it works and have already put on the phone many free apps such as twitter app, msn app and maps. The apps work very well with no problems. I know that there is some argument that this is a Nokia's version of the iPhone and I can see that as well but both of the phones have their own plus and minus points.
