Nokia 6020 is a very inspirational and good looking phone. My father has been using this phone from 2 years. The phone has all the basic functions and comes with a camera. Although, the phone lacks the blue tooth, it has infrared functionality to transfer things between other infrared compatible devices.
A very important feature of this phone is that it is a strong phone with very durable casing, facilitating those who are beginners in using phone.
Nokia 6020 does not have an mp3 player, but since it supports mp3 files, I can easily transfer mp3 music into it using its USB Data Cable.
The phone can record good quality videos for 50 seconds and its voice recorder also helps to put down some important information.
The phone doesn't use so much battery, so, the burden of charging a phone again and again.
A very good feature of this phone is that, it is not heavy and is easy to carry. The phone has 65,536 display screen, which makes it quite decent. There are four modes for the 0.6 Mega pixel camera; Standard, portrait, video and night.
The phone can be used by officials or business men as it is not a very advanced plus a very backward phone. Only that with time it starts to look a bit unattractive. The joystick is a bit strong. The contract makes it much facilitated to buy.
But, as usual considering the weight of circumstances the advantages of this phone are greater than its disadvantages. So, you can make your choice.
The Nokia 6020 is a nice phone, i brought it about 2 years ago for £80 and it still gets used to this day. It is a solid Nokia handset and its hard to find faults. It has a nice simple interface making the menu navigation very easy. It includes futher on screen help if necessary. Includes a number of preset themes, wallpapers and Screensavers. The only problem about this phone i've noticed would be the the lack of memory. 3Mb is insufficient and i found myself having to delete files to make way for others. The Camera Quality is surprisingly good for a VGA camera. Video playback is not the best though, playback being choppy. Numerous ringtones are included and more can be downloaded via WAP. Great Battery Life Overall it is brilliant at what it does.
The Nokia 6020 is a smart looking functional phone with a few nice touches. It's not a top of the range phone and will cost you in the region of £79.99 on Pay as you go.
It has a very clear and sharp colour screen, with some funky screensavers and wallpapers. It has built in themes which when selected place predetermined wallpapers, Screensavers and ringtones as the current selected objects. The theme can be modified and saved to your exact requirements, or indeed you can create your own theme.
In come preloaded with a few nice applications these being
4. To Do list
The phone has a very simple menu system which navigates you through the various options available. There are 3 games preloaded these are
2. Burn Rubber..........A car racing game
3. Puzzle.............A puzzle game which i haven't yet figured out.
The phone is Bluetooth enabled, has WAP capabilities and can send receive picture messages and EMails. The built in Loudspeaker is basically a handsfree device enabling you to listen and talk while you put the phone down.
There are quite a few ringtones available but they are all based on classical themes, but you can obviously download any particular ringtones you require. The standard vibrate function can be used individually or with a ringtone i.e. Vibrate ring or ring vibrate, or vibrate on its own.
The quality of sound is great even whilst outside in a gale as i discovered recently. The back cover of the phone is made of a kind of rubberised material which makes it comfortable to hold and less likely to drop even with wet hands. The front is a mix of black and silver and very nice looking...well to my eyes anyway.
All in all this is a really good phone which functions well and although is not chock a block with features has more than most. It looks as if it is a quality phone and it most certainly is.
I would recommend this to anyone who was looking for a decent phone at a decent price with decent functions.
The Nokia 6020 is quite a good phone. It's a great improvement on the 6610i which I had before. Pros: Display is clear and bright. Photo quality is not bad. The same goes for video recordings (although jerky). You can change the message tone to any ringtone. Some mobile phones (e.g. Samsung, Sony Ericsson) limit you to only a few tones. Very user-friendly Easy to type SMS's. The T9 dictionary stays switched off if you switch it off. Shortcut keys Very useful calendar Good sound quality Voice recorder Message/SMS counter Most games you download work on Nokia phones. Can play .amr and .mid tones. Stopwatch, countdown timer, calculator You can download any size wallpaper and it will stretch to fill the screen. Profiles you can customise (not only Silent). The alarm rings even when the phone is switched off. Cons: You cannot change the reminder tone. You can also not set the duration and volume of the alarm, message and reminder tones, as you can on the Sharp GX15. Mine is not a Vodafone. Get a Vodafone! If you press the joystick by accident to the right, the PTT groups appear. Small memory (only 2.5 MB) The phone cannot play .mmf and .mp3 tones. The display is not clear in sunlight. The backlight switches off too quickly, and you cannot do anything about it. Some phones allow you to specify how long you want the backlight to stay switched on.no blue-tooth for us modern business men. No flashlight, but i still don't regret buying this phone.
