simple, low class phone (Nokia 6030)

Advantages: FM radio, simple design

Nokia 6030 design is very simple - 17 buttons in the front of the phone and 4 directions joystic leaved me good impression. Specifically nice are nav buttons, which are big and easy pushing. Also it's easy to work with keyboard, even person who take this phone first time won't press 2 buttons at one time. Althought the body plastic is not high class, but he is not skiing and keeping agreeably in your hand. In my eyeas this phone haven't got his own style, but design is simple, what is often in low cost mobile phones.

4 years ago 128x128 CSTN screen was new and good feature, but now it makes smile in my face. Screen is not bad, but he is morality old, of course Nokia 6030 can display 65k colors, but even that not helps, knowing that this is low class phone I expected that at least screen will be newer... Certainly this screen is good to show txt, menu, phone haven't got integrated camera, so hoping that you will not see photos in this screen, you can close your eyes and accept that this screen is right for this mobile phone model.

Nokia 6030 haven't got many functions, except standarts features as Java MIDP 2.0 profile, calendar, calculator, wap 2.0, GPRS or T9. Althought I was impressed, because this phone had FM radio. Sound quality then I was listening with standart earphones was medium. Unfortunately mobile phone don't have neither IR, nor Bluetooth. Telephone have ~3mb memory, so it's ok for this model, because he haven't got camera or mp3 player.
Battery - Li-Ion 900 mAh. Nokia say that you don't need to charge it 4-5d, but my friend who have this phone said that he must charge it every 2-3d, depending at talking time.

This phone is created for simple buyers, but Nokia rivals such as Siemens and Sony Ericsson have more functions. So I'm suggesting to buy this phone only if you don't need many functions and you only need simple phone.
