Nokia 6110 Navigator

I was due for a new contract phone, and was somewhat underwhelmed by the range on offer - apart from this handset. A phone with GPS? More importantly, a phone with FREE GPS?!? As far as the phone goes, it does all the usual 3G phone things - call audio volume/clarity is fine. It's useable, and the handsfree works without any problems. Bluetooth compatibility is perfectly adequate. Battery life is OK (apart from when using the GPS). The camera is surprisingly not that great. Photos seem to be a bit on the "blue" side, but not too pixellated. This is my current phone and I have no intention whatsoever to upgrade to another mobile as this phone just does everything I could dream a mobile can do. First of all, if you don't mind a good chunky phone then I'd advise you to go for one of these although I think they've stopped making them. But you can get one second-hand. It's really easy to use, the camera and video capture are both brilliant and I mean it. I've been on holidays twice without my digital camera and twice this mobile has been marvellous. I purchased the Nokia 6110 on contract after deciding my old phone was absolutely past it, it couldn't even hold its charge for more than a couple of hours, so I thought I'd better update my contract and get myself a new shiney phone. The Nokia 6110 Navigator is incredibly easy to use, I managed to figure everything out within the space of about 10 minutes, without using the guide book - thanks to the help of some built in tutorials which come with the phone, these tutorials show you how to use the key functions of the phone and explain everything really well. I bought this phone as a replacement for a samsung d900i i had previously owned and am very impressed with it. I was also looking for a Sat Nav and decided to go for this as it doubled up as a mobile phone/sat nav. So far I have taken it all over the UK and it has never got me lost once. Additional maps are available to download from route 66 website for a fee along with Lonely Planet Tourist guides. The phone performs well and feels durable, one complaint I have is that for the price of the phone it only has a 2 megapixel camera which i didnt really have a problem with because I have my own digital camera i use.
