Advantages: Great features, Caller Groups , Good Battery
Disadvantages: Quite big
I have had a Nokia 6110 for almost two years now. I must admit though that recently I have not been using it due to my acquisition of a Nokia 8250. Up until the oppourtunity came along to get an 8250 I had tried various other new phones but always reverted to the 6110. i have had a 3210, 6210 and a Motorola Wings and none came near. The best feature of the phone is the simplicity of use even compared to other Nokias. The green and red phone buttons are great allowing you to call up your last 10 dialled numbers at the touch of a button and the ability to then ring any of those numbers with a press of the same button. Then there are the caller groups which allow you to assign different ringtones and graphics for different. This helps you to know who is ringing before you take the phone out of your pocket ie Family, Friends, business, Girlfriend(!). The battery has an amazingly long life compared to most other phones. I managed to run the motorola battery dead from fully chargede in 3 hours. The Nokia has never lasted me less than 24 hours. The 6110 was also the first Nokia to be able to accept ringtones, graphics and new caller group graphics. The only fault with the phone is the protruding ariel and it is larger than almost all others on the market. The phone has now been withdrawn production but there are still quite a few knocking about. An even better phone is the 6110's older brother the 6150e this is exactly the same but is dual band.
