Advantages: Holds upto 160 Text Messages, And it viberates!!, as well as have a huge phone memory!!
Disadvantages: No composer or function to allow you to pass on ringtones!, It is a little on the long side
To start with the Nokia 6210 is a good phone its easy to use and its a step up from any other nokia I have had in the past! It's more aimed at the buisness industry rather than recreational use to the the style and adaptability of the phone (i.e. for example : the IR Port, the enlarged memory space as well as the calendar function) STEP UPS FROM ANY OTHER PHONE THAT I'VE SEEN! 1) THE PHONE BOOK FUNCTION(1) NAME INPUTING One of the best things about the phone book function is the ability to store one name and upto 5 numbers under that name rather than filling your phone with John home, John work and John mobile. You can now input the name and then have little picture icons to represent work, home, mobile and then a general little picture as a default phone. VOICE TAGS/VOICE ACTIVATED DIALLING I wouldn't recomend using the voice activated dialling as it tends to take more time to set up and use as it doesn't always recognise the voice!. It's easier to just search for it in the phone book! CALLER GROUPS This is also annoying to set up but is worth it when done. You can choose select people to enter into a group (the name of your choosing!) and then assign a ringtone to that group as well! You are also able to choose a little picture that comes up when they call to show that they are special! (Different icons can be pulled off the internet to personalise your phone) In this you can also in profiles(3) select groups that you don't want to talk to so it automatically diverts that group to voicemail (WHICH IS HANDY!) 3) THE PROFILES FUNCTION(3) In this you can change the default settings in the ringing settings for example : you have 5 different profiles in which you can rename 4 of these to a name of your choosing which if selected shows up in the middle of the phone screen when not in use. For each one of these profiles you can set the ringing vo
lume, message alert tone, viberate on or off etc. when set up all you have to do is press the power button once and you can then choose the profile as like on the older nokia mobiles. 6) THE GAMES FUNCTION(6) Like any good nokia this phone has Snake II which is remarkably better than Snake I, As well as this the other 2 games (a type of reversi and a match the pairs game) are different but not as challenging as the Snake games. 8) THE CALENDAR FUNCTION(8) You can plan your year in this function put in meeting times and reminders and the time and you can choose when you want the alarm to go off to give you suitable warning. 9) THE INFRARED PORT(9) The only use I have for this is to play Snake II multiplayer with my mates, but I suppose you could use it to connect to a PC terminal if you had the software and infrared input port connected to your PC. And Finally 10) WAP SERVICES(10) Thrilling stuff. you can't go anywhere and it takes to long to write anything PLUS YOU CAN'T GET ONTO DOOYOO!!!! Don't like it, too expensive to use and not fast enough but this is nothing to do with the phone. I progress..... To end the opinion, The only down side that i find about the phone is the fact that ringtones off the internet and other phones can be received but cannot be edited as the phone doesn't have a composer function, and they can't be sent on to your friends. On the plus side thought the phone can hold up to 160 text messages!!!!
