Advantages: Large screen, Large memory, Build quality
Disadvantages: Size, Dated looks, Difficult to find replacement fascias
I've had my 6210 for about a year, and it has been a typically reliable, well-designed piece of Nokia kit. My phone takes quite a battering, and regularly gets dropped, scraped, and sat on. Luckily, I have had no problems with the phone yet (fingers crossed). I take good reception and speech clarity for granted on modern phones these days, and had no problem with the 6210 in this respect. I occasionally have to connect my laptop to the internet for work purposes, and the infra-red link between the phone and the PC works perfectly, and eliminates the need for messy wires trailing all over the place. The things I like best about this phone are its large memory (150 texts!), its large screen which is great for WAP browsing, and its ability to connect to a PC allowing you to quickly and easily edit your contacts and texts. My only dislikes are the phone's size, and its plain looks. I have fitted the ultra-slim battery, which helps the phone to slip into your pocket slightly more easily and also reduces weight. I have also fitted a silver fascia, which gives the phone a more modern look. Replacement fascias are difficult to find for this phone. I couldn't find any fascias in the major high street mobile phone chains, and ended up getting mine on ebay from a Danish company. Fitting the replacement fascia is reasonably easy, but requires a special mobile phone screwdriver (a Torx T6, again available on the net). I am very pleased with my 6210. I am soon upgrading to a Nokia 6510, which should hopefully give me all of the features but in a smaller and better looking package!

- 27/08/02 150 texts? Just what I'm looking for...I've got the 7110 at the moment, but really needs upgrading and that one holds 60 texts, couldn't do with going back to 10 texts again, so this sounds right up my street! |

- 27/08/02 Good op with alot of useful facts, I've had my old 3210 for ages now, and don't see any reason to upgrade to anything else. |
