Advantages: Excellent, Reliable
Disadvantages: Can't find anything to replace it
I have had my Nokia 6210 for over 2 1 /2 years now and its still running strong. Working within the IT industry I have had chance to test a lot of mobile phones. None of which are as good and reliable as my 6210. Usually the buttons fade after a year, or the battery becomes loose or the screen becomes fuzzy, but this is all in a days work for my trusty 6210. The reason I found it so reliable is that it doesn?t have clip on fronts or backs, which tend to wear out the phone. The screen seems more robust than others and the keys don?t seem to be the usual cheep things that wear. I have taken it around the world, dropped it (some from quite a height), got sand in it and use it regularly every day, and it still looks new. Well almost, just a little worn where the plastic is painted grey, but nothing major. I used the 8210 for a while and this failed after a few weeks, its replacement had a faulty screen after a short while, similar with the 7110. I found the Siemans phones to wear quickly and the keys to break. The Ericsons are made like tanks and will plough through anything, but the previous models are very dated and the new ones are very fiddly. For now I am sticking with my 6210 as I haven?t found anything to replace it. I haven?t tried the Nokia 6310 yet though.

Still happy with my trusty 3310 a year on - but then I don't exactly put it through it's paces! |
