Advantages: Simple and easy to use

Disadvantages: Features and build

Having owned this phone for about a year, i feel there are a few points i must mention.
I feel a bit against the grain here, as everyone else has good reviews but here goes.

The Nokia phone software is easy to use, however it is very simple and can cause problems.
I noticed it while it was fairly new, that some of the features were just not fully supported.
All of the features mentoned are useable, but, they can be slow, awkward, and cause the phone to freeze, needing to remove the battery to restart it.

The camera quality is awful.
This review is basically written after the end of this phones life. Even new, the camera was dated. While this camera is 0.3Mp practically all Samsung phones were 1.0/1.3Mp with an added zoom feature this phone doesnt have.
The 6230i was brought out to combat this, but even then, it was far too late.

Music.
The mp3 player is good, not great sound but useable.
You cant change earphones, as only the nokia ones work.
The earphones dont connect to the phone very well, and can disconnect easily or cause interference if anything pushes againt them in your pocket. Obviously not good.
The radio is also bad. The antennae just isnt good enough to get a decent signal.

Also its not built as tough as the older Nokia's.
And the inside will fill up with dust. The case is just flimsy and lets in all the fluff and crumbs in your pocket, which head towards the camera lens of course.

After these bad point i must state.
The phone is very simple and easy to use.
It just misses whatever group it was aimed for.

If you want features that work, get another manufacturer, as Nokia's just seem to hae lost their status.
Sony Ericsson or Samsung currently have the best featured phones.

If you want a simple phone without all the gadgets dont get this either.
Get the older Nokia 3310.
Ive owned this as well, and it is honestly great.
Both the 3210 and 3310 are indestructable. ie dropped out of upstairs windows and apart from minor scratches, obviously, it still works pefect.

Edit for comments.

Memory space is good for holding phone numbers and messages and can get a few hundred (of each) on it easy.
Memory for music/video is provided by MMC (MultiMedia Card) cards. Not the greatest way to provide additional space but functional. If using this you need a memory card reader however. The Nokia software as i remember was god awful. A recurring theme throughout the phone. This also meant the phone could only take up to a maximum of 512Mb MMC. Compared to other manufacturers now its very little.

Calls and texts are the same format as all Nokia phones.
Simple and good internal speaker so no problems with hearing.
Nokia are notoriously simple to use so picking it up and dialing/texting takes seconds.

Camera and music is the main features, not else much works well. IR is hopeless as it is in pretty much all phones.
Bluetooth works well.
Just felt if they had spent more time on the software both on and accompanied with the phone, the features would actually be useful.

Not sure on the current price as i'm not entirely sure if they are still for sale. Having been replaced by the 6230i.

Summary: Simple but hastily rushed out which causes flaws

Good round up of everything that's bad with the phone but what about the rest of it? What are the other features? What is the phone like to use as a phone? How much can you expect to pay for it? What's it like to make calls/send texts? What's the memory space like? ... if you describe the whole phone like you did with those few features then you'd have a great review.

D :)
