Advantages: Upgraded screen, new animated menu, FM radio, Works in USA
Disadvantages: Most features are just upgraded from 6230
Firstly, the new nokia 6230i is a lot like the classic nokia 6230 but like people say, it doesn't matter how you look on the outside, its the inside that counts, and this goes for the nokia 6230i.
The only change made to the front of the phone is the new OK/Enter button, which makes the phone a look a lot better and classier. A memory card slot has also been added which gives a huge boost to the memory capacity, but unlike usual phones the memory card goes inside the phone under the battery. In addition the phone comes with a 32mb memory card which is great.
However the most dramatic change from the 6230 is the new 1.3 megapixel camera which not only takes brilliant quality photos but can record video clips with brilliant quality.
The screen has been vastly upgrated and is better for the eye, a lot clearer and brighter. Also, a new animated menu has been added which can be viewed in both grid or list view and takes full advantage of the upgraded screen. The phone is also a lot easier to use which is one of the best aspect of the phone. Finally a new FM radia has been added which has brilliant reception and so far i've got 10 radio stations bookmarked. Accessing the web has gotten a lot easier and the sreen makes it a lot easier to view it.
There has also been many minor changes made to the new nokia 6230i and there is still the old features available. The bluetooth is still available, along with infrared, not that you need, the USB connection is still there which makes connecting to computers really easy and downloading software has never been easier. A small mp3 player has also been added which you can use to play all your track and there has also been some changes with the contact options which makes viewing and sorting your contacts a breeze. Additionally, theres even email, along with many new 3D games and also downloadable games, voice controls and recorder, a calender along with many other extras like a stopwatch and timer.
Imagine your having a night out and you just have to catch the classical must see moments, the nokia 6230i is the best phone for the moment, on the other hand, imagine you just got out of a meeting and need to record some notes, the nokia 6230i is the ebst phone for that.
Overall, with the whole range of new features and the upgraded old features this the the most versatile phone yet and i think it a must have phone, finally with the excellent price i bought my phone with (£80) its excellent value for money.

- 09/10/07 Again, a very nice review. I would have included information about the battery life and reception as well. |
