I broke my old phone a while ago and had to use this as a substitute for a few months, as a phone, it is very basic, but it is very stable and reliable. It has a good screen size and quality and it allows you to add an external m2 memory card which means you can add music or extra games to the phone.
It has a 2MP camera that takes fairly decent pictures, and is ok for everyday use, but not very good it you need high speed or nice quality pictures. It also has an inbuilt FM radio that is ok quality, but you need earphones to be able to use the radio feature, as they act as antennae to increase the quality of the radio.
The phone had good signal for me on the Vodafone network, and the size of the phone and its keypad made it very easy to use and to send text. The keypad is very easy to use and the T9 function (predictive text) is very useful. It also has a good quality music player and can let you use any of your music files to use as a ring tone.
I have had one of these phones for the last 2 odd years as a work phone, and canot only give it praise. I work in the construction industry, so a fancy iPhone or similar would be no good to me and wouldn't last 5 minutes.
Compared to some of the phones on the market today, the features of the 6233 are very basic, but for me it does exactly what I need it to. The phone is a nice size - not too big and not too small. The keypad is a nice size too, and it is very easy to press each button individually, even when wearing gloves which I very often am.
The phone is very solid - I have dropped it numerous times, causing numerous dents and scratches to the outer case, but the main phone unit and screen is perfectly intact.
In terms of features, the phone does have games and a camera etc..but I never use these as this is my work phone.
Overall, I would describe this as a "no frills" phone. It has done everything I have needed to, and whilst there are much more advanced phones available, this is the one that I will keep until it gives up.
