Advantages: slim, lightweight, simple, clear screen
Disadvantages: A little basic
I was given the Nokia 6300 by Orange for my last free upgrade.
It is a nice looking phone, slimline and light weighing 61g. I had the black and silver version which looked nice and modern and it has recently been brought out in red and silver.
The phone offers all the usual features you would expect of a basic Nokia bluetooth, a camera, Mp3 player, handsfree and voice activated keys.
The screen is very bright and clear so ideal for photos. The camera at only 2 mega pixel I found a little on the fuzzy side. The camera has a zoom but not very strong. It is fine for taking photos to have as a screen saver but definately not for you if you like to take lots of photos.
The phone comes with a 135mb memory card so capacity for downloading games and ringtones.
It comes with software for transferring your photos or ringtones to your PC. This worked first time for me and was very simple to use.
The NOkia menu makes the phone very user friendly and I never once needed to refer to the manual to use this phone.
Its a good looking basic phone and ideal for those of us who just phone or text. I found the keys very easy to text with and not too clicky like you get with some phones.
A pretty good basic phone.
Summary: A good all rounder
