The Nokia 6300 has been out for some time now and still is a popular handset.

You are not going to find the latest functions on this phone, but what you will find is the most simple yet sleek use of the phone.

The phone looks absolutly fantastic, it is slick and slim, feels very good to hold and is lighter than a lot of phones in the market. The phone comes in a variety of colours, black and silver, white and silver, red and silver and finally all black.

The phone has all the usual features you would expect, camera, video recording, bluetooth, mp3 player and internet.

The phone has a very easy to use interface, everything is just a couple of buttons away to whatever you want to select eg to use the camera just press menu, then media then camera simple.

Speaking of the camera its the only downside, the camera is just and average 2 mega pixels and there is no flash, so the pictures and video will not be the best you have seen in a phone.

The mp3 player is good, not as good as Sony Ericsson's Walkman but it does the job quite well as mp3 sound good as long they are of good quality to begin with.

The phone sound quality is good when you are making a phone call, very loud and clear so you can hear a converstion even if you are in a busy public high street.

Texting is very easy due to the buttons being sized good, however the disadvantage is those who send really long sms because you can only send 1000 letters at a time but for most people this would not be a problem.

The battery life for me means charging the phone once a day, with talktime of 3 hours a day from one full charge.

I cannot complain about this phone apart from the camera, and with memory card support of 2 gigs you can have a good number of mp3s, photos, videos and games. It is stylish, durable and one of the best simple phones out there today.
